Your winter mod list..

Postby BlackBetty » Fri Aug 28, 2009 1:45 am

Hey guys,

Since winter is coming up in a couple months, just thought I would start a thread about mods. Anyone have some big/little plans over the winter?

My to-do list is:
- Install a Y-pipe I recently picked up (just have to wait for his paypal addy and shipping)
- New struts x4
- 01-02 grill (Like the y-pipe waiting for his paypal)
- rear polyurathane roll resistor, hopefully decrease my wheel hop
- Tune
- Rear sway bar
- Beefier sway bar endlinks
- Repaint my rear strut bar
- Maybe install some tweeters.
- Save up for the 3L!!

I don't know how far down I will get with my list but that would be nice if I could do it all, and save up for the 3L for next summer.. but I doubt it lol.

How about you guys?

Nice guys! Not that I'm thinking of winter already but it's coming up around the corner. I also just caught the 'mod bug' again. I also may have found a front sway bar, and a stab-o-shock (it's an extra brace for motor mounts) Hopefully with that and my 2 94A polly filled motor mounts, that will settle down my wheel hop.

Pull the motor in my Fox. Bore it out to a 434, put some flat tops in and an ugly cam then goodnight Irene. Should hopefully put her in the tens as a fullbody streetcar.

you guys have some pretty nice plans

for me I Know that my super charger is going on and getting tuned; that shouldn't take all that long as far as winter goes tho.
this stuff is defiantly going on; I have it sitting beside me.
m62 roots blower
jackson racing intake manifold
90mm lightning maf
jackson racing fuel rail
42lb injectors
svt focus 63mm throttle body
custom cold air intake routed to the fender
tune for 93 octane
Big 3 (1 guage alternator, battery positive and ground wiring)

this depends on how work goes and my money flow but the trans would be nice to get worked on:
rebuild with updated syncros and shift forks
spec 3+ pressure plate (have) and clutchmasters disc
LSD

before winter gets here I would like to get my ranger going I have a motor to swap in out of a bronco into the truck. its a great winter truck with the xtr package and 4x4

it would also be nice to get my mustang running again.

well if i get my r32 GTS-T as planned i want to change the turbo to a Disco, go with some bigger injectors, front mount and get a tune. Then if the cash is there get some nice shoes for it.
